After MEBAK (Central European Commission for Brewing Analysis) has already published the MEBAK Guideline Depth Filtration in 2017, this first volume is now complemented by the MEBAK Guideline Membrane Filtration.
Besides practical aspects of microbiological or chemical-technical sampling as well as analysis plans, essential basics, comprehensive definitions and plant acceptance are part of the newly published MEBAK volume. With this publication, MEBAK continues to pursue its goal of developing, documenting and publishing modern, practice-relevant, brewing-technical fundamentals and procedures for the investigation and evaluation of analytical methods as well as technical equipment.
The implementation and completion of the MEBAK Guideline Membrane Filtration could only be realized through the voluntary commitment and cooperation of numerous experts under the working group leadership of Dr. Stefan Kreisz, Privatbrauerei Erdinger Weißbräu, Erding. Also involved in the completion were Dr. Deniz Bilge, Carlsberg Supply Company, Ziegelbrücke, Switzerland, Peter Gattermeyer, Steinecker, Freising, Dr. Mathias Hutzler, Weihenstephan Research Center for Brewing and Food Quality, Freising, Dr. Stefan Lustig, Efes, Istanbul, Dr. Dirk Weber, Pentair, Venlo, Dr. Jörg Zacharias, Krones, Neutraubling, and Dr. Martin Zarnkow, Weihenstephan Research Center for Brewing and Food Quality, Freising, to whom great thanks are due.
